We would like to welcome the new designers to the Pink Sketches Team! Here is a little more info about each one of them!
WELCOME TO THE TEAM!
Elizabeth Carney - "I'm Elizabeth. Married to a great guy of 14 years, Dayv. We have a daughter, Alyssa 12 and in the 7th grade. She is such a joy! We've got two dogs, who are still our puppy's. My family is extremely important to me. We live in WA. We just recently built our very first home and have settled in for the long haul. Military life has been interesting. I work at Starbucks and hate coffee! Scrapping is my sanity and along the way I create fun, exciting memories for my family and generations who hopefully will understand what I saw through the lens and story." Aside from scrapbooking I enjoy photography, all kinds of art, reading, music, and fashion. I have been scrapbooking for 3 years. I would describe my style as freestyle chic. For me anything goes and there are no limits to this hobby. I am excited to be apart of the Pink Sketches Design Team and plan to bring as much inspiration to each sketch as possible."

Adeline Lim - "I am Singaporean and a stay home mum to 2 beautiful ‘monsters’. I had resigned from my job when I was expecting baby number 2 so that I can be with my kids through their early growing years and I have not regretted my decision. Shortly after our second child was born in 2006, my husband was posted to work in Shanghai and we re-located with him.
I have always kept odds and ends from our travels and little stuff like the kids' hospital bracelets when they were born to throw into their photo album. So I guess that must be an initial, raw form of scrapbooking. I started the hobby seriously when we moved to Shanghai. I needed something to keep myself occupied and distracted from the frustrations of adjusting to an entirely new culture. It has been very therapeutic for me and now I am happily scrappin’ whenever I have some free time from the kids. I usually scrap in the nights and despite the tiredness of chasing after 2 very active kids, I actually find much inspiration in these wee hours. I do not have a fixed style of scrappin’, but I like the distressed look a lot and tend to incorporate that into my layout. I have been scrapbooking for 1.5 years now but am still exploring and learning new techniques all the time!
We visit Singapore regularly where I get to restock on my supplies and now we are planning to re-locate back home for good as we hope to let the children pursue their primary education back home and I am so looking forward to days of just being able to visit our LSS to stock up than waiting for scrap friends to get them for me and ship over!" Shamma Parvin - "Hi, my name is Shamma and I’m from the sunny island of Singapore. I am SAHM, I live with my supportive husband and two wonderful blessings. I started scrapping in 2007 and immediately fell in love with this meaningful hobby. It has been a great journey so far and I have never looked back since. Scrapping allowed me to record, document and preserve memories for my family and myself. It gives me the opportunity to nourish the creative side of me. There are no boundaries as to what we can do. That’s what I really love about scrapbooking.? In one way or another, scrapping is a form of therapy that helps relax my mind, body and soul. I am proud to be a part of Pink Sketches and I am eager to work with the rest of the team members. I do maintain a blog called Creative Momma. Do check my blog for my creativity." Ming - "I am a full-time working mom of 2 little girls born 15 months apart in March 2008 and June 2009. Scrapping is my way of remembering their growing up years and milestones, which I have been doing since June 2008 when a friend kick-started me on this hobby with a gift of a baby scrapbook album kit. I haven't looked back since!!" (http://www.joyinthelord.blogspot.com)
