Here is Sophie's take on Sketch #14
Title: M is for Memories
Description: This was created in anticipation of my 1st wedding anniversary. The picture was taken the morning when I was getting ready for the most beautiful day of my life. I wanted to capture the emotions going through me then ā the anticipation, the wonder of what awaited. Details in my gown were mimicked through the embellishments used on the layout.
Journaling: Thinking of you sets my heart a flutterā¦
Supplies:
Cardstock: Bazzil
Die-cut patterned paper: Rhonna Farrer
Patterned papers: Basic Grey,
Scenic Route
Lace, ribbon, sequins, flowers

Title: The View
Description: I love when I can use a very simple layout that emphasizes the pictures because for me, scrapbooking is all about the picture and the story. I kept pretty close to the sketch, using ruffled lace as my top scallop and then layering some more ribbons and paper to create the bulk of the page. Of course, it wouldn't be a page from me if there wasn't some type of doodling or stickles on it! The journaling is written in the style of the children's book, "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see?" which is one of Annde's all-time favorite books. Then, behind the main picture is a journaling tag (see that hint of orange?) that talks about how she loves to stare out the upstairs dining room window.
Supplies: Paper by Dream Street and Bazzill, Lace by Maya Road (?), misc ribbon and large craft flower, Bazzill flower strip, Oriental Trading brads and chipboard, Doodlebug brads, Thickers letters, Stickles, Zig Ink, and Kokuyo & pop dots adhesive.

Title: Winter PJ's
Description: I wanted to document how fun PJ's remind me of the winter time! Journaling reads: "when it gets cold, it's always the best feeling to wear warm and cozy pj's!" I purposely used Christmas colors because I wanted it to have that holiday feel!"

Title: Carry Us Thru
Description: This layout is to reflect the thankful mode that I'm currently in. I'm ever thankful to God for carrying both my husband and I through the good and the bad times. I played with the transparency idea with the die-cut shape of the Crate Paper to represent the "transparency" that I have with my husband. I had to use a dark background when taking the photos of the layout so as to show the contrast and design of the entire layout.
Supplies: Label Tulip October Kit (Papers used:Crate Paper Prudence Collection, Prima Transparency, Hambly Birdcages, Collage Press Jackson Lodge; Alphas: Basic Grey Ambrosia Chip Stickers; Rub-Ons: Crate Paper Mia collection; Chipboard flowers: Basic Grey Offbeat Chip Stickers)

Title: "Some Much Needed and Well Deserved R&R"
Journaling: Behind picture...DH and I snuck away for a few days of much needed R&R. Our hotel was absolutely decadent. I could have stayed forever, just relaxing and being pampered.
Supplies: All papers: Kelly Pannaci for Sandylion. Green journaling circle: PaperSource. Chipboard Heart and Letter Stickers: MakingMemories

Title: Over Time
Supplies: PP: Pink Paislee; Journaling sheet, letter stickers, Lace: Making Memories; Grungeboard letters, tickers, trinket pin: Tim Holtz; rhinestones: MME, K&Co.; Flowers: Prima; chipboard: Sassafrass Lass; Dimentional stickers: Little Yellow Bicycle; Staples
Technique: Glimmer Mist is great-BUT did you know: Take a Tim Holtz Mini-Mister, fill it 3/4 full with water. Add a brush or two full of Perfect Pearls, shake it up, Glimmer-y Mist! More fun?? Add a dropper full of Tim Holtz Distress Ink from a re-inker bottle to above, shake, and you have the ink color with the shimmer too!
"Time" is Shabby Shutters and Red (can't remember which) Perfect Pearls! This combo would be perfect for Christmas!
